Join Keep Wakulla County Beautiful (KWCB) and Palaver Tree Theater for the Hand Me Down Get Down, a community swap event that helps neighbors share useful items, reduce waste, and keep perfectly good things out of the landfill.
Bring your gently used, like-new items — small furniture, appliances, plants, produce, musical instruments, books, clothing, toys, baby gear, sporting goods, tools, kitchenware, and more.
✔️ All items must be clean, in good working condition, and damage-free.
❌ No junk, no hazardous items, no broken goods.
Everything is FREE to give, take, or swap — no money changes hands! It’s like a big community yard sale, except kindness is the only currency.
While you browse for your next treasure, enjoy live music by Chris “Cottonmouth” Perry and grab a delicious southern bite from Old South Cafe, who will be on-site with food available for purchase at regular menu prices.
Want to bring items? Please pre-register and reserve your space!
• Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis — if you have your own table, please bring it!
• Local nonprofits and community groups are encouraged to set up a booth to share resources and connect with neighbors.
• Anyone bringing items is responsible for taking home any unclaimed items at the end of the event.
